osx - Why do I see massive time difference when closing an excel spreadsheet on different computers? -

i have developed on mac, small (5 worksheets , ~230ko) workbook contains many vba macros.

when use same workbook on other mac computers (i have tested 4 different os , faster hardware specs) saving/closing workbook takes >30 seconds when lightening fast on old mac used create xls.

this saving time no-go me. tried check excel options... appeared same.

what can diagnose difference is, , fix issue ?

a friend of mine solved it. future reference:

1. quit excel
2. in library/settings (translated french ymmv), find , delete com.microsoft.excel.plist
3. restart
