db2400 - Finding specific data on a DB2 for i database -

i'm trying find specific data being saved in database, as/400. using using ibm data studio , db2 as/400 driver.

so far i've been poking through tables , columns looking specific string using simple select statements, there hundreds of tables/views/columns i'm @ loss.

i've looked through thread on db2 i, search column, return table names in list form

but don't know column name data supposed in, there no documentation database.

is there way can search through every table/view/column specific string?

there tool called sql workbench/j has "search table data" functionality. check out warned - seaching string in whole database / system expensive.
