rstudio - How to deploy from a subdirectory on Github -


i newbie far git concerned, pardon ignorance. using r make presentations using slidify. have pushed project github repository rstudio https://github.com/dhirajkhanna/training. however, 404 file not found when try launch page (http://dhirajkhanna.github.io/training/marketbasket). have index.html in separate repo called slicndice able see page going http://dhirajkhanna.github.io/slicndice

i tried doing this no joy. can point me in right direction please?

i see marketbasket on master branch; should in gh-pages branch accessible dhirajkhanna.github.io

this contrasts dhirajkhanna/slicndice, has content in gh-pages branch.
result, http://dhirajkhanna.github.io/slicndice work.

update august 2016: simpler github pages publishing allows keep page files in subfolder of same branch (no more gh-pages needed):

now can select source in repository settings , github pages content there.

so now, content in subfolder of main branch.
